When the Internet first came along, it was called the informational highway. That title still holds true today however, the Internet has taken on a bit of a new look. Now instead of going online to find information about something, people are going online to socialize. The social network sites have taken over the Internet. That’s all you here on news casts or sports shows…follows us or see us on here. The two major players are Facebook and Twitter. These two sites can be fun to use and also can be very profitable if you have an online business, or any business for that matter.
If you are using these sites for your online business, then I suggest you create separate accounts or pages for your business. You really don’t need to bother personal friends with business posts, videos or articles…and you surely don’t want your business contacts seeing pictures of you when you were a teenager doing something you probably shouldn’t have been doing. It is definitely best to keep personal and business separate.
Another great reason to create different pages or accounts is that you can title them with keywords that pertain to your niche. For example, I am in the home business niche and my Facebook page for that is title Home Business – Business Opportunities and my twitter name is HomeBizIdeas. I do this to attract people who are interested in that topic. Get a good following and provide them with quality information and watch your online business grow. Please feel free to become a fan or follow me and learn a lot about the online business industry. Who knows, you may even find a great opportunity to start making some legitimate extra cash online.
