There are a lot of sites out there that will tell you everything you want to hear on how you can make millions online quickly. Be very cautious of these sites. A legitimate home based business will take time and effort to become successful and the people who try to prove to you that they made “x” amount of money in a week have had an online business for years and have built up a huge following on their email lists.

No CommentsDo you really enjoy getting out of bed on a cold, dark Monday morning to go to work? How about facing the traffic, the long work day or even worse…the office politics! I don’t know about you, but on a warm, sunny day I sure don’t want to go to an office and sit in a cubicle all day.
I did that…all of that, for many years! I can tell you first hand that it was not fun! So I decided to work from home and start an online business. It was the best decision I have ever made! Now before you get to excited, let me tell you that I still have to “work” everyday. Contrary to what you read there is no get rich quick opportunity out there. However, the fact that all the time and hard work that I do is for me and not someone else…makes it all worth it!
Now the fun part…or satisfactory part, or whatever you want to call it. Working when you want, how long you want and how often you want is what I call freedom! The worst part of working an 8-5 job was the last hour of the day. I would finish a project and it was 4:30 and I had to wait until 5 to leave…not enough time to start something new so I felt “trapped”, kind of like being in jail. Now let me tell you how satisfying it is to see the money coming in and knowing it is all mine! Having an online business and being able to work at home is second to none. If you have kids, then I shouldn’t even have to write about all the benefits and fun that comes with working from home.
By the way…my home office has 2 nice sized windows with an gorgeous view of the country, a private bathroom and my own kitchen! All right, the bathroom and kitchen are not “in” my office…but you get the picture.
To many people are stuck in a job that they don’t like and don’t want to be there yet do nothing about it. I did and now have a successful online business with the privilege to work from home and make as much money as I want. It wasn’t always easy but I stuck with it and made it work and you can too! Learn to have fun with your life and start a work at home, online business today!

No CommentsWriting posts in a blog everyday or even just a couple times a week can get a little difficult at times. My online business is helping others get started with a home based business or online business so when I write a blog, I usually stick to the starting an online business niche. But after a while and many blog posts later, it is sometimes hard to come up with new, fresh content for you to read. After all, who hasn’t written about starting an online business, the competition in this niche is huge!
The Internet today is huge and still growing so competition is going to be everywhere. In some ways, that’s good! For one it means that people are interested in your niche so there is money to be made. Another good is it means entrepreneurs need to come up with new and exciting ways or products to grab your attention so the phrase “same old, same old” goes out the door. The bad thing about competition, it means you have to work hard to get ahead of everyone else along with being creative…not always easy to do…but, it can be done!
If you are interested in starting a home business or online business, don’t let the thought of all the competition scare you into thinking you can’t make it. Like I stated before, the Internet is constantly growing and new customers are coming on everyday so there is plenty of room at the Inn! There are people online everyday looking to make money, so if you stick with it, they will find you and your product!
So for me, it is at times difficult to think of new and exciting content to blog about, but I keep on coming up with stuff that hopefully you find interesting and helpful! Is my content new and creative? Maybe, maybe not…but as long as it helps you in some way and/or keeps you motivated with your own online business, then I have accomplished what I set out to do. No CommentsI read an email this morning from a friend who told me her daughter is finally going to be doing what she really loves. My reply back was “wow, someone doing what they actually love to do!” Sadly, not enough people are doing that…to many people “stuck” in that dead end job that they dread going to every morning. I know, many will tell you that they have no choice and that may be true…for now, but it doesn’t have to stay that way! I believe there is always a choice or option.
Doing what makes you happy is the key to success in life! It is no different with a home based business or online business. When choosing which type of online business to do, ALWAYS choose something you will enjoy researching, learning, working on and most importantly, making money with! If you go after an online business just because it promises to make you rich, guess what…you wont make a dime! All online businesses take time to become successful and you will need to spend time working on it. If you don’t totally enjoy it, it will be no different than that dead end job you dread going to every morning!
You only get one shot at life…why not make the most of it and be happy doing it! There is always an option (except death and taxes) to do what you want. I know I wrote about this before, but do you really want to know how easy it is to spot a scammer or someone who is in this online business world just for the money…not to help others! The only thing you have to do is read some of their articles, blogs or anything they have written; or look how their web page is designed and written. It totally blows me away when I see articles that have absolutely no flow to them or no proper English or formatting, just a bunch of keywords shoved in there to try to get rankings. That is a sure give away of someone who is only looking for the big payout!
Now if the name of the author looks foreign, then I can understand the English part not being written well, however, that is no excuse for poor formatting. I am not at all saying that I am an expert in the English language or that I am perfect, but with all the tools available for us to use there really is no excuse for poorly written content or formatting. When I am looking for a legitimate online business, I will not look to hard or long at a web site that looks like it is written or designed by a third grader!
The part of the online business industry that angers me the most is the people who try to scam others! These are the individuals who give this business a bad name and why there are so many rules we need to follow now. Sorry…I needed to vent a little here and hopefully for your benefit so you don’t get burned.
