No CommentsNew Years…out with the old and in with the new. A time to get a fresh start. A time where we will make resolutions to start something such as a diet, an exercise program or perhaps a new job, maybe even a home based business. Or maybe your plans are to be debt free in the new year. Whatever the case, we all strive to make ourselves better in one way or another. But, do we really follow through with our resolutions all the way through the year.
In most cases, the answer is no. But why? The answer is quit simple…failure to plan. Sure everyone “plans” to start, but they don’t plan past that and after a couple of weeks, they go right back to the way they were. For example, I belong to a gym and go there regularly for years now and we have a term for the newbies we see in January…resolutionists. Come February, most are never to be seen again. Why? Simply, no results and it was hard to do..and, they never planned past the start!
It doesn’t matter what you want to accomplish with your resolution, if you don’t plan or set goals for yourself throughout the entire year you will most likely fail. The same can be said for a home based business or online business. You probably won’t see results immediately but if you plan for success by the end of the year instead of by the end of January, chances are you will succeed if you stick with it.
So set goals and plan ahead, look past the start of your resolution and see the end result of hard work. If you can stay focused on that then you can achieve anything you set out to do!

No CommentsWell, Christmas has come and gone as quickly as the money in our pockets. The only thing left to do now is to pay for all the gifts. Depending on what you bought, that could take months to pay it all off. Now, I have a few good ideas that you could do to help pay for those gifts quickly. Paid online surveys is one way to make some legitimate extra cash in a short amount of time. Another online business is data entry jobs. Both these online business opportunities can have you earning cash quickly to help pay off those nasty credit cards!
The next holiday of course is New Years, the time where we all make our resolutions. One of the biggest resolutions is to get out of debt! While taking paid online surveys or doing some online data entry jobs will help, a better, more long term solution would be affiliate marketing. This online business takes a little longer to generate a big income, but if your goal is to be debt free by the end of 2010, then this online business is for you!
No matter which you decide to do, all businesses need to be worked on. Some do take more work than others, but all of them still take consistent work to generate in income. So start the new year off right and get that online business going and earn legitimate extra cash to pay off those bills!

No CommentsAnytime someone starts a business whether it be a home based business, online business or a traditional storefront, people make mistakes! If you are one that falls into the home based business category, then here are a few mistakes you should be aware of before you get in to deep.
1. Realize that when building your online business, it is going to take some time for you to become successful. Don’t expect to be a millionaire by next week! So plan on spending time to build the business and schedule time when you will work on it and more importantly, stick to that time.
2. Next, all businesses will require an investment of some sort. Nothing is free! I’m sure you have heard the line it takes money to make money…well, it does! But don’t be discouraged, you can start a very successful online business with a very small investment. Keep in mind that the more you reinvest into your business, the more successful it could become.
3. Another common mistake a lot of newbies make is not doing their research. Choosing the wrong product or an online business just for the money will end up failing. Choose something you will enjoy doing! Next, research your interest to see if you can be profitable with it.
4. Many people will give up after they don’t see profits quickly. You need to stick it out! Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither was any truly successful online business. It is great to set goals, just keep them realistic!
5. The biggest mistake anyone can make is to not believe in yourself. If you don’t think you can succeed, you won’t! Believe in yourself and in what you are doing. If you think you can have a success home based business and you work at it, then you will.
So avoid these common mistakes and start a home based business for yourself. The rewards will far outweigh the risks if you stick to your plan and realize what it takes to be successful!

No CommentsNo matter what you do in life, the more informed you are about whatever it is you are doing, the better you will be at doing it. Pretty logical statement. However, being informed about a certain subject isn’t always good enough. Things are constantly changing and you need to keep up with it or be left behind. All the same concepts hold true if you have a home based business or online business.
One of the most recent changes for online marketing has to do with testimonials. If you haven’t heard or read about it yet you need to, it went into effect on December 1st. A great way to keep up with online business information is to sign up for newsletters. There are a lot of Internet marketers who supply newsletters to there subscribers to help keep them informed and I do the same.Most if not all newsletters are free.
The best thing you can do for yourself is to sign up for a few of them and learn as much as you can. If you don’t like the content you receive, you can always cancel the subscription and there is still no cost to you. No CommentsI have posted a few blogs about the benefits of having your own home based business and working for yourself. Well, that has paid off for me today. I enjoy playing basketball and do so once a week. last night was the night we play and unfortunately I came down wrong on my foot and badly sprained my ankle. For those of you who have been lucky enough not to have to go to the emergency room of a hospital let me just say I was there for a long time! Ended up getting home at 2:30 in the morning.
Now for that all important benefit(s)…got to sleep in this morning without having to call my boss and I get to take as much time as I need to heal without having to worry about a job or work backing up. With my online business, I can still work. I am writing this from my easy chair with my foot propped up with ice on it. Can’t do that in an office!
So to sum it up, the benefit of having my own online business is awesome! Knowing that I don’t need to report to anyone except myself really takes the stress out of the equation. Of course, there are many more wonderful benefits of being your own boss. Start a home based business today so you to can be in control of your own life!

The beauty of affiliate marketing is that is doesn’t take a big investment to get started and you can be making money in a short period of time. The trick is just knowing all the in’s and out’s and how to’s for this online business.
For example: where and how do I promote my product? Will I need to spend a lot money to be successful? Where on the Internet to I place ads or information about the product I am promoting? How do I get paid for my efforts and how much?

First, don’t believe all the hype that you will make thousands of dollars next week with little or no work…not going to happen! As for the time it will take you to start making money online, that varies of course. 1 CommentI was watching TV today at lunch and a commercial came on for some auto insurance company saying that if you switch to their insurance you will save ‘x’ amount of dollars per year on auto insurance. Now, if you can comment back to me and tell me witch insurance company that was, I’ll give you something for free…I have lots of ebooks, I’ll give you a good one free!
The point I want to make is that every auto insurance company has practically the same commercial! So why would I believe this company is any better than the next or that I would save any more money with them? Now I have nothing against auto insurance companies, it just happened to be on when I thought about it. All lawyers promise you the money, every grass seed company has the best growing grass, etc. Sadly, you hear or read the same stuff when it comes to making money online. Everyone has the program that will make you tons of money with little or no work.
The truth is, a home based business or online business takes hard work and dedication if you really want to succeed. There are some programs that you can make money relatively quick, but you won’t be rich next week! I want to introduce you to a program that has all the potential in the world to make you a lot of money IF you work at. It’s called affiliate marketing. No bull here, this is what I do and it does work. It is not hard to do, you just need to know how to do it! I found this great book that pretty much explains what you need to do and gives you all the sites you need to have to make this online business work.
