Well, if you believe all the headlines that you come across stating make thousands by tomorrow, then I guess tomorrow you will be wealthy. Sounds pretty easy, doesn’t it? You know, if it was that easy, everyone would have a home based business. A successful home based business takes time. There are ways to make some money quickly, but true wealth from a home business is like any business, it takes dedication and time.
I always get a kick out of some of the headlines I read. Its like the 30 minute abs or lose 10 lbs in a week…do you really think you can get a six pack of abs or lose 10 lbs in a week without working hard! I laugh at the commercials and how they are smiling with no sweat on their perfect bodies while working out. They do know how to paint you a picture. Bottom line is no matter what you want in life, you are going to have to work hard and long for it. A successful home based business is no different.
If you really want to become wealthy and work from home, then by all means go do it! It is possible. Just don’t expect it to happen overnight.

No CommentsThe first full day of fall today. Soon all the trees will be turning beautiful colors and the scenery will be awesome. A great thing you can do with your family is to take a ride to a park or some wooded area and do some sight seeing. But don’t forget your camera. Take some pictures of the trees, maybe some with your kids (if you have any) in the scene. If your lucky enough to come across a steam or creek near by, it gets even more beautiful. Now add a picture of your dog running through or standing in the shot and you have a winner.
Just think, this could be your home based business! Many people make a lot of money online selling photographs of all kinds of things. It’s easy, fun and profitable. I just gave you only 1 idea and expanded a little on it, there are thousands of things you could photograph. The online photography business is an ever growing field because people want to see pictures of everything. We put them on web pages (there are millions of web pages), blogs…you guessed it, millions of blogs, and whatever else we use pictures for. Also, the Internet is continuing to grow so there is plenty of opportunity to make a lot of money selling your pictures.
So go out and take some pictures of a lake surrounded with colorful trees and maybe a few nice homes nearby and start a home based business by selling them. What a great way to make a living.

No CommentsWorking for someone can be vigorous and strenuous, that is why so many people want to start a home based business. I’m sure you are in that same boat. The biggest problem that many of you face is time. Trust me, I know what it is like to work all day long and then have to come home and work again…not fun. That is why most home based businesses fail, most people just can’t keep that type of schedule. Eventually, the home business isn’t worked on and it’s back to the wishing you were working from home.
It doesn’t have to end up like this. If you try to work every night, all night to try to keep up, then you will burn out. Simply set yourself a schedule of when you are going to work and when you are NOT going to work. This is critical. There are many home based business opportunities that only require 10 to 15 hours of work per week to succeed. Don’t try to work every night, only work 2 or 3 nights during the week and let the rest for the weekend, but give yourself some free time then also.
By allowing yourself some free time, you will avoid that burnt out feeling and you will continue to work on your home based business when scheduled to. This can only lead to success and eventually you will be able to fire your boss and work for yourself full time.
